This elegant series draws from the intricate charm of birds, butterflies, and florals, reimagined from a traditional choontok — a beaded table cover featured in the Peranakan Museum’s Decorative Textiles Gallery.

Originally crafted with over a million glass beads on a vivid turquoise backdrop, the choontok was placed in the wedding chamber where Peranakan couples shared their first meal.
